Evidence & current status
Specifications are attributed public claims. Configuration, current fleet size and deliveries may not be fully disclosed.
ANKA is Turkish Aerospace’s conventional medium-altitude uncrewed aircraft family. It combines a reusable fixed-wing airframe with interchangeable observation and other military payloads. The current manufacturer page describes optical and radar options, satellite communications and automatic take-off and landing. ANKA occupies a different part of the company’s portfolio from the larger twin-engine AKSUNGUR and jet-powered ANKA III.
The reviewed Turkish-language product page publishes a 1,700-kilogram maximum take-off mass and more than 350 kilograms of payload capacity. These are current family-level marketing figures, rather than a guarantee for every aircraft delivered under earlier ANKA designations. The page also separates a direct-link distance from a satellite-enabled distance. Neither is silently converted into fuel-limited flight range in this catalogue.
ANKA shares elements of its avionics and ground-system architecture with other Turkish Aerospace programmes. Common architecture does not make the aircraft interchangeable or establish identical performance. The present entry documents the published system and leaves operator-by-operator equipment, procurement quantities and hardware blocks for subsequent source-specific additions. Claims for ANKA III are deliberately kept on that separate aircraft’s profile.
