Evidence & current status
Published configuration claims; no named fleet acceptance inferred from a product launch.
S-301 is the larger Schiebel Defence aircraft unveiled alongside S-101 in September 2025. The manufacturer presents it as a modular rotary-wing platform for surveillance and other defence roles. It is a separate catalogue entry from the S-300 development, whose flight-test statements should not automatically be transferred to every S-301 configuration.
The product page usefully connects different mission loads to different durations. Its longest stated endurance uses a much smaller payload than its shorter heavy-load example. The total load allowance also includes fuel. Preserving these relationships prevents a misleading comparison built from unrelated maximum figures.
The present evidence supports a named supplier offering and detailed design claims. It does not identify a completed customer acceptance or establish that every payload option has flown. Subsequent milestones should distinguish a demonstration, a contract, delivery and operational service. Until such evidence is available, the operator inventory remains open.
