Evidence & current status
Frontline performance and disputed procurement reporting require independent corroboration; supplier claims are labelled and not treated as immunity to countermeasures.
HX-2 is Helsing's electric loitering-munition design, introduced in late 2024. It uses an X-wing arrangement and is presented as part of the company's wider software and uncrewed-systems portfolio. The manufacturer's emphasis is on scalable manufacture and integration, but production capacity is not the same thing as the number of accepted or operational aircraft.
In February 2025 Helsing announced production of 6,000 HX-2 aircraft for Ukraine. The same release distinguished them from an earlier HF-1 order being delivered with Ukrainian industry. Those names should not be collapsed into a single model: they refer to different aircraft programmes and industrial arrangements.
A subsequent January 2026 company statement described successful frontline testing while disputing press reporting about Ukrainian orders. The catalogue records that as a supplier account, not independent validation of every performance or reliability assertion. In particular, broad claims of complete electronic-warfare resistance are not adopted as established fact. Public range figures are attributed to Helsing, and missing mass, endurance and sensor specifications remain explicit gaps pending a reliable technical release.
