Evidence & current status
Published product data does not establish acceptance of every offered configuration.
The Iver4 580 occupies the smaller end of the Iver4 portfolio. Its value for a reference catalogue is the combination of a portable survey vehicle, modular payload arrangement and navigation designed for autonomous underwater operation. It should not inherit the larger Iver4 900's battery capacity or its submarine-programme contract merely because both share the Iver name.
The April 2025 manufacturer sheet describes a vehicle under 100 pounds, with a 300-metre operating-depth rating and a lithium-ion energy configuration. The published dimensions and endurance are a specific document baseline. Earlier Iver4 580 literature describes other lengths and battery arrangements; a comparison tool should keep those documents dated instead of silently taking the best figure from each.
This entry records an available supplier product rather than asserting a verified fleet-wide service state. Sonar and other installed equipment can alter mass, balance and endurance, so the figures are useful for identifying the class of vehicle rather than predicting a particular mission. A customer-specific acceptance record and an exact delivered sensor list remain useful additions to the profile.
