Evidence & current status
Single supplier portfolio source; model-specific naval acceptance and full mission configurations are not established.
L&T's autonomous underwater portfolio contains three separately named lines. Amogh is its larger survey vehicle, Adamya is a more compact modular platform, and Maya is a configurable family developed following technology transfer from India's National Institute of Oceanography. Their inclusion together explains a common supplier portfolio without presenting them as interchangeable variants of one hull.
The manufacturer gives different depth and size baselines for each. Amogh's literature emphasises hydrographic survey and a dedicated launch-and-recovery system. Adamya's modular configuration is intended for naval survey and environmental missions. Maya covers river, coastal and open-sea applications, with multiple hull and depth options rather than one fixed specification.
Sensor lists include sonar, environmental instruments and cameras, but these are offered integrations rather than evidence that every vehicle carries the complete list. L&T describes field deployment of Maya; the reviewed page does not identify current military fleet numbers or acceptance dates for each model. Accordingly, the family remains supplier-reported. Maximum speed and endurance are separate published limits, with no unsupported assumption that either is sustained at the other's maximum.
