Evidence & current status
Operational inventory evidence is for EW 100; most numerical data here are for ASW 100. Manufacturer data sheets state tolerances and possible specification changes.
MARLIN is a Turkish uncrewed naval platform developed by ASELSAN and Sefine Shipyard. The design uses a relatively large small-craft hull to support interchangeable sensing and mission equipment. Autonomous navigation and remote control are both part of the published architecture, with operators remaining able to supervise the vessel and its payloads.
ASELSAN's 2025 annual report identifies MARLIN EW 100 as the first uncrewed naval vessel to enter the Turkish Naval Forces inventory. That provides a stronger basis for status than exhibition appearances alone. It does not, however, prove that every configuration in the MARLIN catalogue has completed service acceptance.
The specifications here come primarily from the separately labelled ASW 100 data sheet. Its sensor options and payload arrangements must therefore not be assigned automatically to the delivered electronic-warfare vessel. Supplier literature also contains broad claims about operation under interference; these are not treated as proof of immunity. Finally, MARLIN is unrelated to the French DriX H-8 named Marlin by Shom, despite the shared name.
