Mohajer-2 is an early tactical reconnaissance aircraft in the Qods Aviation family. The US Army’s equipment guide places its development in the 1990s and describes it as an evolution of Mohajer-1, with an autopilot and longer reach. Its physical arrangement includes a narrow fuselage, straight wings, twin tail booms and landing skids. The later Mohajer-2N is documented as a modernised version introduced in 2014, with revised electronics and flight characteristics.
The archived Iran Defence Products catalogue provides a dated manufacturer reference for the baseline Mohajer-2. Those published figures are retained as historical product values. They should not be transferred to Mohajer-2N, an export derivative or another member of the wider Mohajer series without specific supporting evidence.
This entry groups the baseline aircraft and its named modernisation while preserving their distinction. It is useful for understanding the progression from compact reconnaissance platforms to later, larger Mohajer aircraft, but it is not a current inventory statement. Public sources reviewed here do not provide a complete accounting of surviving aircraft, current customers or modern sensor installations.
