Evidence & current status

The source for each variant must be consulted separately. Catalogue footer dates do not establish introduction or acceptance dates.

Mighty Hornet is a family name covering several NCSIST loitering-aircraft configurations. The developer's individual entries distinguish Mighty Hornet I, a compact pod-launched system; Mighty Hornet II, a longer-endurance offering with image-based guidance; and Mighty Hornet III, an electrically powered aircraft with an X-wing VTOL arrangement and fixed-wing cruise.

Those differences matter more than the shared branding. A launch-container specification for the first version does not describe the vertical operation of the third, and the catalogue's qualitative endurance description for the second supplies no numerical flight time. This record groups the three publicly documented versions while keeping their configurations explicit. Mighty Hornet IV has its own entry and is not counted again here.

The available product pages do not identify a dated military acceptance milestone, a complete current performance table or verified production quantities for each version. They support the existence of distinct developer offerings, with autonomy and networking described at a high level. Procurement evidence and version-specific technical sheets remain necessary for a detailed fleet comparison.
