Evidence & current status
GIDS describes the aircraft as battle-tested. Deployment and performance assertions are supplier-reported; no universal configuration is assumed.
Shahpar-II Block-II is GIDS's medium-altitude, long-endurance aircraft for surveillance and armed missions. Its current product description identifies a composite and metallic modular airframe, retractable landing gear, automatic take-off and landing, and redundant avionics. The mission system offers electro-optical and infrared observation, with a radar payload described as an alternative.
The supplier publishes separate endurance and altitude figures for surveillance and armed configurations. This is a useful distinction: maximum endurance, maximum payload and maximum ceiling should not be presented as simultaneously achievable. Similarly, the advertised communication distances describe the data-link system and are not a statement of total flight range.
This profile covers the Block-II configuration on the current GIDS page. It should not be read as a specification for the original Shahpar, every previous Shahpar-II aircraft, or the larger Shahpar-III. Although the supplier calls the product battle-tested, the reviewed page does not provide a complete, independently corroborated record of delivered aircraft and operator configurations. Service assertions and technical figures therefore retain explicit manufacturer attribution.
