Public programme evidence establishes the stated maturity only; unreported numerical data remain unknown.
StormRider is WB Group's growing family of modular uncrewed surface vessels. The larger 850 was publicly presented before the compact 550, which made its debut at MSPO in September 2026. WB describes the newer boat as suitable for military and civil tasks, including protecting critical infrastructure.
The two sizes should not share a single unqualified technical baseline. The manufacturer identifies the 550 as a 5.5-metre platform, while its September 2026 awards announcement gives a more detailed mission description for the 850, including maritime radar, sonar, an echo sounder and electro-optical observation. These sensor details are retained against the larger model rather than copied to every possible 550 configuration.
WB also reports 850 cooperation with the Polish frigate ORP Gen. T. Kościuszko during activity associated with the 2026 NATO summit. This is useful evidence of naval demonstration, but it does not establish formal fleet acceptance or a production order. The family record therefore distinguishes demonstrated development activity from the 550's recent public debut. Payload, endurance, propulsion and customer quantities require model-specific primary documentation before being treated as established comparable figures.
