Role & programme
A jet-powered uncrewed combat-aircraft programme. July 2026 reporting documents testing of an S2 production-model aircraft, while development and integration work continue.
A production-model test aircraft is not evidence of operational military acceptance. Baykar’s current product page advertises high-subsonic performance and a 500-nautical-mile combat radius. That radius is a different measure from ferry range or datalink reach. Advertised future configurations and mission sensors remain separate from the particular aircraft involved in each flight test.
