Evidence & current status

Current and older specifications describe different configurations. English speed unit 'km/s' is not silently corrected. A named acceptance/customer and generation-specific revised brochure remain unresolved.

KAPGAN is HAVELSAN's larger ground-robot offering within its Digital Troop portfolio. The manufacturer describes equipment transport, casualty movement, observation and specialist mission packages, alongside an armed demonstration configuration. It is a separate platform from the lighter BARKAN family, rather than a BARKAN payload upgrade.

The current product page lists a heavier and larger vehicle than the older manufacturer catalogue. The current base is quoted at 2,500 kilograms without payload, with a 500-kilogram payload rating and twelve-hour operating duration. The earlier catalogue describes a 1,400-kilogram electric configuration with six-hour endurance. These figures cannot be combined into a single best-of-family specification.

HAVELSAN advertises remote communications, autonomous movement and cooperation with other uncrewed systems. Those are supplier capability statements. Although the page calls the platform operationally proven, it does not identify a customer acceptance date or a delivered fleet. The catalogue consequently retains supplier-reported status. The English page also prints an implausible speed unit; no corrected numeric speed is assumed until a dated consistent manufacturer sheet is available.
