Evidence & current status
Estonian design origin is retained despite international ownership and customers. Use base-family specifications only; heavier armed modules have separate figures.
THeMIS is Milrem Robotics' modular tracked ground vehicle. Two powered track units flank a central area that accepts cargo or a mission module. The family covers logistics, casualty evacuation, observation, engineering support and armed integrations, making the base platform more useful to catalogue separately from each customer's equipment package.
Milrem reports acquisition by numerous countries and documented deployments in Mali and Ukraine. Those establish a mature programme, but acquisition by a country does not mean every vehicle is assigned to an operational combat unit. Different customers also receive different sensor, communications and autonomy configurations.
The current family page lists rated payload separately from maximum payload and gives both hybrid and electric-only running times. These distinctions matter when comparing it with battery-only transport robots. Milrem's June 2026 exhibition announcement added further counter-drone and observation integrations; an exhibited payload should not automatically inherit the service status of the underlying chassis. Remote operation and optional intelligent driving functions are likewise separate capabilities, and this profile does not treat platform autonomy as autonomous weapon authorisation.
