The role
An adjacent market joins sensors, command software, electronic systems and interceptors. Airborne electronic-warfare payloads also expand what uncrewed aircraft can support.
What shapes this market
Counter-drone procurement is often an integration problem spanning sensors, command software and several response options. Customers need systems that fit the surrounding infrastructure and provide usable information without overwhelming staff with uncertain alerts. Hardware installation is consequently only one milestone; acceptance testing, training and continuing software support also matter. Open interfaces can broaden a supplier's role, while dependence on proprietary data and updates can increase switching costs. This market differs from aircraft sales because the protected site or vehicle, its existing systems and the customer's responsibilities strongly shape the final configuration.
